Location: Hybrid in New York, NY. Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship and reside in or relocate to the NYC metropolitan area.

Salary: $210,000 – $250,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Manage and coach squads of AI-empowered engineers, focusing on career development and feedback.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to lead the delivery of key product features.
• Drive technical decisions and system design to balance long-term scalability with near-term delivery.
• Maintain production reliability and performance, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Contribute to the codebase to unblock the team and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Coordinate with clinical subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience (Backend or Full-stack) and 2+ years leading teams of 5 or more developers.
• Proficiency with Python, Go, and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with AI coding tools, AI agents, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools such as Datadog and Sentry.
• Must be based in the NYC metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an enterprise SaaS environment or health tech.
