Test Technician I (Automotive & Aerospace)

Salary: $23 - $32 USD per hour

Technology company developing the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) to optimize engineering and manufacturing for the automotive and aerospace sectors.

What you will do

• Operate standard tensile and fatigue test systems for material quality control and characterization.
• Perform periodic system checks and required maintenance.
• Document all performed work using the Divergent Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Accurately record test data in Excel and other software applications.
• Assist with specialty R&D testing activities as required.
• Follow specific instructions outlined in standard test procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• High school degree, GED, or higher degree.
• Ability to work on-site in Torrance, CA.
• Physical ability to climb staircases and lift/carry 30+ lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of basic metal testing fundamentals.
• Experience with tensile testing.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
