What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design process, including research, concepting, and prototyping for web and mobile.
• Build and evolve scalable design systems and patterns to ensure consistency across all products.
• Develop responsive and accessible front-end experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and build RESTful APIs to take features from concept to production.
• Partner with product, data, and leadership teams to translate user needs into shipped solutions.
• Shape engineering and design standards as the team grows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience across both design and engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, specifically with components, variants, and auto-layout.
• Strong front-end skills in modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Working back-end proficiency in languages such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Java.
• Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Fluency with or strong curiosity about AI-assisted design and development tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
