What you will do

• Oversee compliance programs meeting SAMHSA, HIPAA, and CMS regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal consultation on growth strategies, M&A, and service line expansion.
• Manage the Enterprise Risk Assessment process and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and revise corporate policies, procedures, and the Company’s Code of Conduct.
• Lead internal auditing and monitoring efforts to prevent non-compliance.
• Manage investigations of alleged policy violations and coordinate with government officials.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law.
• Prior compliance leadership experience (CCO or senior level) in a multi-site healthcare organization.
• Legal experience within the healthcare sector.
• Deep knowledge of laws and regulations affecting healthcare providers.
• Strong track record of assessing risk and partnering cross-functionally to mitigate it.
• Must be based in the USA due to licensure and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Appropriate compliance certifications.
• Specific experience in behavioral health care, including SUD, MAT, and OTP/OBOT.
