Location: Must be based in the US (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Manhattan, Scottsdale, or West Hartford). Hybrid expectations: minimum of two days per week in office, or fully remote.
Compensation: $90,000–$150,000

What you will do
- Manage and maintain the 50-state claims database and monitor legislative changes.
- Develop and own compliance controls related to Medicare, OFAC, and federal protocols.
- Partner with Legal and IT teams to design workflows aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the US Claims response to regulatory inquiries and complaints.
- Develop audit programs and dashboards to monitor compliance effectiveness.
- Deliver training and legal support to internal teams and vendors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in claims compliance, insurance regulation, or legal operations.
- Degree in law, risk management, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of claims handling regulations, Medicare protocols, and market conduct standards.
- Experience with multiple lines of business in a 50-state claims environment.
- Strong research and policy writing skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
Nice to have
- J.D. degree.
- Advanced insurance compliance certifications (CPCU, CIPP, CAMS, CRCM).
- Scrum or PMP certification.
