Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (React)

Location: United States - Remote

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 USD per year; actual pay depends on location and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze product requirements and provide feedback on proposed solutions.
• Implement clean, maintainable features and functionality, primarily for frontend applications.
• Contribute across the stack, including UI, APIs, integrations with financial institutions and partners, and infrastructure.
• Build and enhance investment and financial product experiences using modern web technologies.
• Perform functional testing, write automated unit tests, and maintain software quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong frontend background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Storybook.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance web applications and high-availability frontend services.
• Ability to design intuitive, scalable schemas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
