TL;DR

Technical Recruiter (GovTech): Managing full-cycle hiring for highly technical roles in software engineering, cybersecurity, and AI/ML within federal consulting environments with an accent on passive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline building. Focus on leveraging AI-powered tools and Boolean search to identify cleared and uncleared talent for mission-critical GovTech roles.

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA (in-person 1-2x per week). Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Partner with recruiting leadership and hiring managers to support full-cycle hiring for technical and mission-focused roles.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and build pipelines for software, data, DevSecOps, cloud, and cybersecurity professionals.
  • Conduct recruiter screens to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
  • Create personalized outreach campaigns to proactively engage passive candidates.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to automate repetitive tasks and improve sourcing efficiency.
  • Manage candidate activity and recruiting workflows within the Greenhouse ATS.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent.
  • Experience recruiting within government contracting, GovTech, defense, or federal consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with security clearances and federal hiring requirements.
  • Strong LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing and Boolean search skills.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to improve recruiting efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting in both agency and internal corporate talent acquisition environments.
  • Experience using Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms.
  • Experience using ClearanceJobs.
