What you will do
- Manage staff and systems to meet ambulance service performance requirements in the South Region.
- Oversee administrative operations and handle employee and labour relations issues.
- Lead and participate in the recruitment and selection process for site paramedic staff.
- Develop and implement processes for customer and patient issue resolution.
- Promote compliance with company policies and provide emergency back-up on ambulances when required.
- Mediate conflicts and foster effective, motivated team environments.
Requirements
- Must be a registered paramedic in New Brunswick (or equivalent).
- Minimum of five years of experience as a paramedic, including at least three years in a leadership role.
- Must possess a valid Class 4 driverβs license in New Brunswick (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in EMS management, finance, and human resources.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve with discretion.
- Proficiency in standard business computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite).
Nice to have
- Bilingualism (French and English).
- Post-secondary education in business administration.
