What you will do
- Lead enterprise strategy and execution of first-line crisis management and scenario testing activities.
- Develop methodologies aligning business continuity and disaster recovery with enterprise risk priorities and regulatory expectations.
- Design and facilitate tabletop exercises, simulations, and functional tests for disruptive events.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to define credible scenarios, testing objectives, and decision-making protocols.
- Direct the creation of after-action reports and remediation plans to ensure sustainable improvements.
- Oversee enterprise crisis communication tools and lead a high-performing professional team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- 12+ years of senior leadership experience in crisis management, business continuity, or operational resilience.
- Proven track record in complex organizations, preferably G-SIB environments.
- Deep knowledge of resilience principles, continuity planning, and regulatory risk requirements.
- Ability to influence executives and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder functions.
- Location: Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
