Production Control (Manufacturing)

Production Control (Manufacturing): Coordinating production activities and monitoring work-in-progress to ensure optimal utilization and timely delivery of electrical distribution systems with an accent on mitigating production constraints. Focus on tracking production status, identifying bottlenecks, and orchestrating communication across engineering, procurement, and quality departments.

Location: 100% in-office presence in Jacksonville, FL (Remote work is not offered)

What you will do

• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate schedule changes due to delays, disruptions, or material shortages.
• Track production status, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate communication between engineering, procurement, quality, and maintenance departments.
• Provide direct support to Production Planners and schedulers.
• Generate and maintain weekly production reports for the Manufacturing Supervisor and Planning Manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to established safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be based in Jacksonville, FL.
• Prefer 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Understanding of ERP system workflows.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
