What you will do

• Prepare over 600 sales and use tax returns monthly for level 1-2 clients following best practices.
• Communicate regularly with clients via phone and email to provide updates and resolve questions.
• Review client tax data for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Format and import monthly tax data into hirify.global Indirect Tax Returns (VITR) software.
• Initiate and process electronic filings and payments to ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with senior staff to resolve complex issues and support higher-level filings.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of related experience in tax processing, accounting, or business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be based in Florida (FL).

Nice to have

• Experience with VITR (hirify.global Indirect Tax Returns) software.
• Professional tax-related certifications.
