What you will do

• Manage the monthly book close process for venue operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of F&M revenue and COGS.
• Oversee accounting for event-related expenses, internal labor, and residency consignment merchandise settlements.
• Lead the inventory reconciliation process in coordination with operations teams.
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting across the company.
• Review and approve monthly sales tax payments and filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure strict compliance with SOX 404.

Requirements

• Advanced analytical, accounting, and financial skills.
• Proven experience in monthly analysis reporting and monthly close processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS/Fusion, and Coupa is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA License is strongly preferred.
• Location: Must be based in New York City, NY.
