What you will do

• Own the AI roadmap, translating business goals into a focused AI agenda and identifying strategic priorities.
• Coach team leads to transform AI-related goals into shipped outcomes and measurable efficiency.
• Define the strategic direction of the AI stack, deciding what to buy, build, or deprecate.
• Develop rapid prototypes using code and APIs to prove value or unblock internal teams.
• Drive a company-wide shift to make AI the default starting assumption for all business processes.
• Report directly to the C-Level and represent the AI strategy to investors and the board.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a mix of strategic and hands-on roles (e.g., founder, consultant, or AI lead).
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to read/write code and utilize modern LLM tooling.
• Proven track record of driving change across diverse functions and working with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong commercial instinct and a pragmatic approach to development and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Berlin.

• Experience as a founder or early employee at a high-growth scale-up.
• Previous experience leading small, high-leverage teams with distributed ownership.
