TL;DR

Focus on analyzing project proposals, monitoring milestones, and preparing analytical products for senior government leadership.

What you will do

  • Analyze project proposals and provide data-driven recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Assess project feasibility, funding pathways, and execution strategies for industrial base initiatives.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and performer progress to ensure successful execution.
  • Draft briefings, analytical products, and acquisition-related documentation for senior government and military leadership.
  • Conduct research and analysis on strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities impacting the global defense industrial base.
  • Coordinate and de-conflict activities with mission partners, government stakeholders, and external organizations.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance (with the ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience supporting manufacturing, RDT&E, defense industrial base initiatives, or acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Department of War acquisition lifecycle and the PPBE process.
  • Experience preparing written reports and briefings for senior military leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of War or similar strategic staff organizations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles applied to technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, microelectronics, or critical materials.
