What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers with a strong focus on career growth and performance management.
• Own the design and delivery of scalable backend systems, APIs, and partner integrations.
• Architect backend systems as long-term products, ensuring flexibility and extensibility to reduce future rework.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Product, SRE, and Operations to resolve production issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and system design.
• Champion the responsible adoption of AI tools (code generation, observability) across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
• Strong foundation in system design, distributed systems, and modern backend architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment practices.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL data storage and microservices architecture.
• Practical experience utilizing AI-powered development tools.
