TL;DR

Director, Product Marketing (Cybersecurity): Scaling product marketing to drive pipeline and customer value realization with an accent on enterprise GTM strategy, positioning, and translating cybersecurity capabilities into compelling messaging for technical buyers. Focus on building end-to-end launch plans, enabling sales with value-oriented assets, and influencing product roadmap using competitive, analyst, and customer insights.

What you will do

  • Scale product marketing function and core processes to drive pipeline and customer value realization.
  • Own positioning and messaging, shaping personas, key use cases, and industry-specific scenarios for existing and prospective customers.
  • Lead enterprise go-to-market direction: buyer messaging, sales plays, and end-to-end launch plans for new features, products, and integrations.
  • Enable sales with customer value-oriented materials (pitch decks, objection handling, RFP templates, website copy, long-form content, collateral, stats/facts, and demo videos).
  • Manage customer engagement initiatives including advocacy, references, and community.
  • Use market, competitive, analyst, and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and keep messaging aligned with emerging threats and trends.

Requirements

  • US-based remote role.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years in product marketing, preferably in smaller organizations.
  • Strong understanding of networking and network technologies, malware and threat actors, process-based security controls, vulnerability management, and exposure management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance frameworks, including Zero Trust, CTEM, STIG, CIS, PCI DSS, NERC CIP, and CMMC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong technical skills with MS Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and sales/marketing tools (Salesforce.com, HubSpot).
