Salary: $107,000 - $165,000 USD

What you will do

  • Oversee facility management, equipment performance, and preventative maintenance plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance staff to ensure operational excellence.
  • Execute engineering projects and co-develop future automation strategies.
  • Partner with operations to establish performance standards and KPIs.
  • Act as the automation subject matter expert for system design and capability decisions.
  • Ensure site compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with controls systems including Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, Logix 5000, and PLC/HMI development.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, 5S, or Lean.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Kinston, North Carolina.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Intelligrated software support.
  • Project management experience in design and implementation.
