What you will do

• Evaluate customer contracts to ensure revenue recognition adheres to ASC 606 and company policy.
• Collaborate with sales, deals desk, legal, and IT teams to align on revenue processes.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over revenue transactions and reporting.
• Champion the integration of AI tools to reduce close cycle times and improve data accuracy.
• Prepare accounting memos and supporting data for external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 is required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Big 4 CPA certification.
• Experience with Professional Services or diverse revenue patterns (Ratable, Percentage of Completion).
• Experience with multiple performance obligations and complex revenue transactions.
