Salary: $110,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Apply ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies to ensure financial compliance.
• Review revenue contracts and provide guidance on complex accounting issues to sales and other departments.
• Perform revenue testing and provide feedback to data engineering teams to improve system accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries, revenue reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with revenue recognition requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, specifically within software or technology industries.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles under GAAP.
• Experience with complex revenue arrangements, including multi-element software deals.
• Must be able to work onsite at our San Mateo, CA headquarters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• CPA certification.
• Big 4 CPA audit experience.
