What you will do

• Act as a bridge between legal requirements and technical AI implementation.
• Challenge solution designs to ensure privacy and data protection compliance.
• Translate complex legal risks into actionable technical constraints for engineering teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate ambiguity in AI system architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an AI Data Protection / Privacy Lawyer.
• Legal qualification (LL.B./LL.M./CIP/E) in an EU jurisdiction.
• Deep technical grounding in AI systems, including LLMs, RAG, agents, and vector stores.
• Hands-on exposure to platforms such as Azure AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• English proficiency: B2 required.
• Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
