TL;DR

Hyperscale-Long Haul-Middle Mile Business Development (Telecom): Developing strategic relationships with hyperscale companies and partners to expand the outside plant fiber network footprint with an accent on brand awareness and customer intelligence. Focus on identifying decision-makers, educating clients on fiber products, and gathering competitive intelligence to drive sales results.

Location: Remote (USA), must be within 2 hour drive of a major US airport

What you will do

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with hyperscale companies (e.g., AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft) and their OSP partners.
  • Identify decision-makers and determine project pipelines for fiber cable in the short and long term.
  • Educate customers on hirify.global's product specifications, value propositions, and new launches.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to influence the Product Roadmap.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop sales and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with outside plant (OSP) fiber cable is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in hyperscale, middle mile, and dark fiber routes is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel overnight more than 40% of the work week.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fiber splicing, OSP cable installations, or OSP engineering.
  • Knowledge of fiber network architecture and PON network design.
  • Engineering degree.
