What you will do

• Monitor risk usage and metrics against thresholds, performing deep-dive analytics on emerging risks.
• Execute, improve, and develop periodic risk data, reporting, stress testing, and presentations.
• Perform qualitative credit risk and rating assessments for structured asset finance and trade receivable loans.
• Collaborate with investment teams and second-line risk teams to mitigate risks and escalate issues to senior management.
• Develop and implement risk oversight policies and procedures for Investment Grade Private Credit and Asset Finance.
• Analyze new products and businesses within the Alternatives sector to identify and draw attention to potential risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2-4 years of experience in risk management, portfolio management, or trading at a bank or asset manager.
• Proven knowledge of quantitative analysis, modelling, and basic statistics.
• Proficiency in processing and analyzing large, complex quantitative and qualitative data sets.
• Understanding of financial reporting (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cashflow) and risk methodologies (sensitivities, limits).
• Location: Must be based in London, UK

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel (including VBA) and data tools such as SQL and Power BI.
• Experience in underwriting, credit ratings, ABS, CLO, or SPVs.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
