Corporate Credit Analyst (Financial Markets)

What you will do

• Analyse balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial information to assess the creditworthiness of clients and institutional counterparties.
• Prepare written credit assessments and recommendations for client onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Perform financial due diligence and partner with Compliance during onboarding and review processes.
• Monitor counterparty credit exposures across APAC, identify emerging risks, and escalate material issues.
• Evaluate financial performance, market developments, and external factors affecting counterparties and credit exposures.
• Advise Trading Operations and other stakeholders while contributing to improvements in the credit risk management framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk, or a related financial services role.
• Experience analysing financial statements and assessing creditworthiness.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to collaborate across business and support functions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or Python.
• Knowledge of financial markets, securities trading, or counterparty credit risk.
