What you will do
- Analyse balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial data to assess client and counterparty creditworthiness.
- Prepare written credit assessments and recommendations for client onboarding and ongoing reviews.
- Perform financial due diligence and partner with Compliance during onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Monitor counterparty credit exposures across APAC, identify emerging risks, and escalate material issues.
- Evaluate market developments, company performance, and financial trends affecting counterparties.
- Provide timely credit risk advice to Trading Operations and contribute to improvements in the credit risk management framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk, or a related financial services role.
- Experience analysing financial statements and assessing creditworthiness.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL or Python experience is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate across business and support functions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of financial markets, securities trading, or counterparty credit risk.
- Experience with SQL or Python.
