What you will do

• Perform server, storage, and network equipment installations, removals, upgrades, and relocations.
• Execute rack and stack activities, including rail installations, hardware mounting, and equipment positioning.
• Install, route, terminate, and manage structured copper and fiber cabling following established standards.
• Validate power hirify.globals and PDU assignments to ensure equipment readiness prior to deployment.
• Assess current workflows to identify inefficiencies and develop standardized, repeatable procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and M365 to centralize documentation and streamline work management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise or colocation data center environments.
• Demonstrated experience in rack and stack, server deployments, and structured cabling.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, rail systems, and power distribution.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills for hardware diagnostics.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms, asset management systems, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements that reduce manual effort in a DC environment.
