What you will do

• Maintain data center operations to ensure high service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and root cause analysis.
• Assemble, install, and maintain server and networking equipment.
• Develop and utilize scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Manage inventory and maintain test/tool equipment.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on-call.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Dalton, GA.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible to access export-controlled information.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 environment, including rotating on-call shifts.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in cramped spaces and variable temperature environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS or Juniper JunOS.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
• Prior experience in data center operations or computer networking.
