What you will do
- Manage Windows Domain environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure including data centers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Design and plan network architecture for office environments, producing build-out documentation and equipment specifications.
- Administer Hyper-V virtualization and Windows Server OS environments including provisioning and patching.
- Own and manage firm-wide backup systems (on-premises and Azure) and execute disaster recovery operations.
- Manage and maintain Fortinet firewalls, VPN configurations, and Aruba wireless infrastructure.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 6+ years of hands-on network administration experience in a business environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Deep expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and GPO administration.
- Proficiency with Hyper-V virtualization and PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Demonstrated experience with Fortinet firewalls and Azure VM backup systems.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified, or CCNA.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and ITSM tools.
