Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan. This role is hybrid (expected to be on-site at least 3 times a week).

What you will do

• Lead a team of hardware simulation architects in optimizing hardware/software parameters within virtual environments.
• Drive strategic projects focused on the full integration of hardware and software systems.
• Coach team members and cross-functional partners in the use of MBSE and plant model tools.
• Present simulation status and strategic vision to various levels of leadership.
• Manage staffing, workload delegation, performance evaluations, and career development for direct reports.
• Collaborate with product development, electrical, systems engineering, and IT teams to ensure enterprise-wide alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or software/hardware connectivity.
• Technical knowledge of GVHE components and vehicle-level integration.
• Proven experience leading or coaching teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship (no H1-B, OPT, etc.).
• Familiarity with GM Vehicle Program processes and milestones.
