Hardware Simulation Engineering Group Manager (Automotive): Leading a team of architects to optimize vehicle hardware and software integration in virtual environments with an accent on MBSE, CAE, and systems engineering. Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan. This role is hybrid (expected to be on-site at least 3 times a week).

What you will do
- Lead a team of hardware simulation architects in optimizing hardware/software parameters within virtual environments.
- Drive strategic projects focused on the full integration of hardware and software systems.
- Coach team members and cross-functional partners in the use of MBSE and plant model tools.
- Present simulation status and strategic vision to various levels of leadership.
- Manage staffing, workload delegation, performance evaluations, and career development for direct reports.
- Collaborate with product development, electrical, systems engineering, and IT teams to ensure enterprise-wide alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or software/hardware connectivity.
- Technical knowledge of GVHE components and vehicle-level integration.
- Proven experience leading or coaching teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship (no H1-B, OPT, etc.).
- Familiarity with GM Vehicle Program processes and milestones.
