What you will do
- Own the full customer lifecycle from prospecting and technical sales to onboarding and account management.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, advising on protein engineering goals and assay selection.
- Translate complex experimental results into actionable insights for customer programs.
- Collaborate with the internal biology team to troubleshoot experiments and ensure design accuracy.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts across AI-driven protein design and pharma sectors.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences with deep technical expertise.
Requirements
- Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, or biophysics is required.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as field application scientist or technical sales.
- Strong commercial drive with a focus on revenue, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both PhD-level scientists and business executives.
- Genuine interest in AI-driven protein design and the current biotech landscape.
- Self-starter capable of managing priorities independently.
