What you will do

• Provide post-sales technical support for Arista Datacenter and Campus products.
• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
• Resolve concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, and product application.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Recreate customer network issues in a dedicated lab environment.
• Document communication and recurring technical issues to support product development.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin or Shannon, Ireland.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP and traditional networking technologies.
• Knowledge of core networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, IPv4/IPv6, and STP.
• Experience with Linux OS navigation and troubleshooting tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Programming or scripting proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Perl, or shell.
• BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Prior customer-facing experience.
• Industry certifications.
• Knowledge of containers like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with SDN networking concepts.
