What you will do
- Design and architect secure, scalable network architectures using VPNs, VPCs, and load balancers.
- Provision and manage cloud-based network resources across AWS, Azure, and Cisco Meraki platforms.
- Implement robust security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Continuously monitor network performance and optimize for stability, availability, and efficiency.
- Integrate cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure using secure connection methods.
- Leverage automation tools and scripting to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proven professional experience in network and security engineering.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP, and OSPF.
- 3+ years of experience in an L2 IT Support capacity.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco (Meraki), Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet devices.
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere 6.5+, Microsoft Server (2008 R2 – 2019), and Active Directory.
Nice to have
- Cisco CCNA & CCNP certifications.
- Azure or AWS accreditations (e.g., MCSE, MCTIP, VCP, AZ-100 to 104, AZ-900, AWS Solutions Architect).
- ITIL Certification.
