TL;DR
Senior Solutions Architect (HPC): Leading technical engagements and owning customer migrations to cloud-based HPC workloads with an accent on pre-sales, POC execution, and digital transformation strategies. Focus on analyzing complex engineering workflows (CFD, FEA) and designing tailored cloud solutions for aerospace, energy, and life sciences industries.
Location: Remote (United States). Must be a US Person due to export control requirements. Periodic travel is required.
Compensation: $140K – $180K OTE + Equity & Commission

What you will do
- Lead technical pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations, and the execution of 2-3 Proof of Concepts (POCs) per quarter.
- Analyze technical needs and infrastructure to help aerospace and CFD/FEA engineers migrate complex workflows to the cloud.
- Define and execute long-term (1-5 year) digital transformation strategies for strategic customers.
- Design tailored solutions by gaining deep knowledge of specific HPC environments, from genome sequencing to aeronautical design.
- Represent the company by presenting solutions at national and regional conferences, user groups, and webinars.
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or equivalent (M.S. preferred).
- At least 5 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a technical role.
- Must be a US Person due to export control-related projects.
- Proven ability to present highly technical topics in an accessible manner.
- Ability to travel periodically.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of HPC disciplines such as CFD, FEA, Molecular Dynamics, or Computational Chemistry.
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, OpenFOAM, COMSOL).
- Understanding of IaaS, schedulers, and scripting languages.
- Experience with enterprise customers in aerospace, automotive, life sciences, or semiconductor verticals.
- Familiarity with traditional enterprise sales processes.
