TL;DR

Director of Marketing Strategy (Fintech): Leading go-to-market strategy and positioning for capital solutions with an accent on institutional investor engagement and complex financial product narratives. Focus on driving commercial adoption, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and translating sophisticated market insights into actionable growth strategies.

Location: Must be based in the US or Canada (Remote or hybrid in DC/NYC).

Salary: $175,000+ base, plus $10,000–$40,000 bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for products and services targeting capital providers.
  • Define differentiated positioning and messaging for institutional investor audiences.
  • Synthesize market dynamics and customer feedback into a clear strategic point of view.
  • Equip commercial teams with high-quality narratives, pitch decks, and sales enablement tools.
  • Align product, commercial, and marketing stakeholders around shared narratives and priorities.
  • Act as an internal authority on investor mandates, workflows, and decision drivers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing or marketing strategy with experience in high-growth environments.
  • Meaningful direct exposure to institutional investors (banks, funds, or corporate finance).
  • Professional experience in financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear positioning.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior cross-functional partners.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada.
