What you will do

• Define technical direction for delivery teams and drive the adoption of AI-assisted development practices including code generation, review, and test automation.
• Design and develop autonomous agents for SDLC activities, integrating them with platforms like Jira and GitHub via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Identify, evaluate, and pilot new AI use cases across the software delivery lifecycle to improve productivity.
• Establish quality gates, governance models, and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated code and agent outputs.
• Measure and report the impact of AI adoption using engineering productivity metrics such as DORA and Flow Metrics.
• Upskill teams in AI-native engineering and contribute to internal AI initiatives and knowledge-sharing communities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or PydanticAI.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Knowledge of AI security risks (prompt injection, data leakage) and productivity metrics (DORA, Flow).
• Location: Must be based in Bulgaria
