What you will do

• Design control systems for industrial automation equipment from the concept stage.
• Develop detailed control system design specifications in collaboration with clients and project teams.
• Manage automation contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and provide technical feedback on system integrator and vendor design documentation.
• Liaise with vendors to stay current with the latest automation technology trends.
• Attend and lead control system hardware and software Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics systems, Mechatronics, Automation / Controls Technology or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of Industrial Control Systems.
• Proven experience with PLC and DCS based Control Systems.
• Knowledge of software architectures and standards including S88, GAMP, and 21CFRPart 11.
• Understanding of industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, and Controlnet.
• Experience focused primarily on the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sectors.
