What you will do

• Design and develop new products and enhancements for the busbar trunking portfolio.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Creo or SolidWorks.
• Ensure product compliance with international safety and regulatory standards, including IEC 61439 and UL857.
• Build and evaluate prototypes to validate performance and design concepts.
• Conduct Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and support risk assessments.
• Manage engineering changes and maintain documentation within PLM systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in product or mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
• Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in power distribution products or the data center industry.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrications, welded assemblies, and plastic moulded components.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, and DFE (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Environment).
• Familiarity with Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOPs.
