What you will do

• Develop and conduct technical reliability studies and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.
• Perform risk analysis for new designs and processes, including FMEA and hazard analysis.
• Recommend test methods and statistical process control procedures to meet reliability standards.
• Analyze performance reports and investigate variables affecting product and process quality.
• Ensure corrective measures align with company and governmental reliability objectives.
• Develop mathematical models to identify and mitigate excessive failure risks in units or batches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
• Foundational understanding of Design Risk Management (DRM) and risk-based thinking.
• Familiarity with Design Verification (DV) and test method validation (TMV).
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards, specifically ISO 14971 and ISO 13485.
• Ability to work onsite in Galway, Ireland.
