What you will do

• Partner with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to integrate reliability and risk management into product development.
• Lead risk management activities including DFMEA/FMECA development and hazard analysis per ISO 14971.
• Execute reliability strategies such as growth planning, test strategies, and risk burn-down approaches.
• Analyze test and field data to inform design decisions and improve system performance.
• Conduct structured problem-solving and root cause investigations for reliability issues.
• Ensure compliance with design controls and quality system requirements for regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• Minimum NFQ Level 8 in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in reliability, quality, or product development (or 2+ years with a Master's degree).
• Strong understanding of FDA and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
• Proven experience in Design Risk Management (DRM) methodologies.
• Must be able to work onsite in Galway, Ireland.
