Senior Digital Communication and Social Media Manager (Quantum Computing)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid workplace with a remote policy of up to 40% per month

What you will do

• Own the digital communication calendar in coordination with the PR Manager and Content Manager.
• Plan and execute expansion across channels such as Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram, setting growth objectives and KPIs.
• Build and scale the email marketing channel through tooling, segmentation, templates, and strategy.
• Oversee weekly organic and paid content creation, scheduling, and publishing across digital channels.
• Manage the online community by monitoring comments, mentions, and direct messages, responding in the brand voice, and escalating sensitive feedback.
• Interview scientists and engineers, translate complex quantum research into accessible content, manage external creative providers, and report on marketing performance.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, communication, growth marketing, or content creation.
• Proven experience launching and growing social media channels or online communities, supported by examples and results.
• Strong design and branding sensibility with experience using Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, InDesign, or equivalent tools.
• Native or C2-level written English and published work that can be reviewed.
• Advanced technical and scientific communication skills, including synthesizing complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Fluency with AI tools for content creation and workflows, plus a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• Background in physics, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience in a fast-moving startup, deep-tech environment, or small agency.
• Experience explaining technical topics online through a blog, YouTube channel, X or Reddit account, Substack, or similar platform.
• Knowledge of the quantum computing industry.
