Backend Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and GraphQL.
• Contribute to infrastructure development on Google Cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize CI/CD processes to ensure more predictable, stable, and efficient releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, growth, marketing, and payments.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks to support scalable business growth.
• Integrate AI tools into the daily development workflow to increase velocity and efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building backend applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on proficiency with NestJS and GraphQL.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience setting up and improving CI/CD processes.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
• Active adoption and usage of AI tools in your professional workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform engineering, developer experience (DevEx), or internal tools.
• Knowledge of data engineering, Machine Learning, or product analytics.
• Experience with FinOps and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Previous experience in hiring or managing engineering teams.
