What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud platform infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Scale the system to support growth to millions of users.
• Drive observability, monitoring, and alerting to reduce operational toil via automation and smart tooling.
• Improve security posture and contribute to the on-call rotation to maintain system health.
• Manage reliability, performance bottlenecks, and critical bug fixes (KTLO work).
• Collaborate with Cloud, Product, and Support teams on strategic architectural and tooling decisions.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, and DevOps engineering, specifically scaling complex platforms.
• Strong application development skills using Node.js.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Must have existing right to work in Europe or be eligible for German visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience acting as a Tech Lead with a servant-leadership style.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, security, and cloud-native architecture.
• Background working in scrappy startups or entrepreneurial environments.
• Specific experience with Azure.
