What you will do

  • Design and optimize backend services using Node.js.
  • Define backend architecture, API strategy, and integration patterns.
  • Perform requirements analysis, technical design, and sprint planning.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
  • Support cloud architecture decisions and deployments on AWS.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js backend development.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, RDS, MSK, Cognito).
  • Experience building event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • Background in Telecom, UCaaS, or SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with TM Forum API standards.
  • Experience with Apache Camel or similar integration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SIP/VoIP protocols.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.io or AWS Step Functions.
