What you will do
- Design and develop backend microservices for modules including Identity/RBAC/MFA, number search, purchase & porting, onboarding automation, and CDR/billing pipelines.
- Integrate with external carrier, telecom, and third-party APIs (Operator Connect, number/porting providers, ServiceNow, payment and billing systems).
- Build event-driven and long-running workflows using Kafka and Temporal.io within defined architecture.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and follow CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts on requirements and acceptance criteria, and with Frontend Engineers on API contracts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and basic schema/data modeling.
- Experience integrating third-party/external APIs.
- Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka) and exposure to workflow orchestration (Temporal.io).
- English proficiency at B2 or higher.
