Senior Backend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js/Java/Spring): Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems for a global ticketing and booking platform with an accent on RESTful/GraphQL APIs, serverless architectures, and microservices. What you will do

• Own full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Build scalable backend solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js & Next.js) and Java (Spring).
• Design RESTful/GraphQL APIs, serverless architectures, microservices, and workflow orchestrations.
• Create system architecture and sequence diagrams for service interactions.
• Manage relational/NoSQL databases focusing on modeling, integrity, and performance.
• Utilize AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, etc.), DevOps CI/CD with GitLab, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate via code reviews and work in Lite Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript + Node.js & Next.js.
• Deep Java + Spring experience.
• GraphQL/REST API design expertise.
• SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM tools.
• AWS services and serverless computing.
• DevOps/CI/CD (GitLab), Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Fluency in English (excellent written/spoken).

Nice to have

• Frontend experience with React.js/Next.js.
