What you will do

• Develop and implement solutions for product issues to ensure stability and performance in volume production.
• Analyze process chains and design corresponding manufacturing concepts for optical components.
• Conduct risk analyses for product changes and manage technical escalations.
• Evaluate component deviations and damages to decide on appropriate corrective measures.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, focusing on feasibility, design, and industrialization.
• Provide functional leadership for small teams and mentor junior Product Engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, PDCA, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience with the product development lifecycle and NPI projects.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and German is required.
• Must be legally authorized to access US-controlled technology (Export Administration Regulations).

• Knowledge in data engineering.
