Supplier Excellence Engineer (Medtech)

What you will do

• Lead VAVE implementation and supplier transfers to achieve net cost reductions for existing products.
• Partner with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials and processes that reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Drive supplier base reduction and consolidation by migrating materials to strategic suppliers.
• Deploy dual and multi-source supply strategies to ensure continuity of supply for key products.
• Apply lean methodologies and process optimizations to achieve cost-reduction targets.
• Manage complex change processes through collaboration with quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or an Engineering discipline.
• Fundamental experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment (Germany) without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Design Engineering and R&D.
• Familiarity with VAVE tools, PPAP, and Change Management Processes (CMP).
• Strong program management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Track record of driving operational improvements and business cost savings.
