What you will do
- Lead VAVE implementation and supplier transfers to achieve net cost reductions for existing products.
- Partner with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials and processes that reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Drive supplier base reduction and consolidation by migrating materials to strategic suppliers.
- Deploy dual and multi-source supply strategies to ensure continuity of supply for key products.
- Apply lean methodologies and process optimizations to achieve cost-reduction targets.
- Manage complex change processes through collaboration with quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or an Engineering discipline.
- Fundamental experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment (Germany) without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Design Engineering and R&D.
- Familiarity with VAVE tools, PPAP, and Change Management Processes (CMP).
- Strong program management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Track record of driving operational improvements and business cost savings.
