Trading Systems Engineer (Trading Platform)

What you will do

• Maintain the health and availability of high-performance trading systems.
• Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
• Build automation and monitoring solutions to reduce manual configuration and improve uptime.
• Work with exchanges, clearing firms, traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
• Onboard new trading desks, trading systems, and technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of Linux and Unix environments, with scripting experience in Python and Bash.
• Experience with complex SQL queries and updates, plus networking fundamentals including multicast, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting tools.
