What you will do

• Define and drive the architecture roadmap, focusing on scale, resilience, and AI integration.
• Act as a hands-on contributor, owning specific architectural domains and driving them through to production.
• Align architecture decisions with the product roadmap and business objectives in collaboration with leadership.
• Lead and mentor a team of six senior architects, establishing shared practices and a culture of technical excellence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, specifically AI and machine learning infrastructure, for platform integration.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for design decisions, patterns, and trade-offs across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software architecture experience in product-based engineering environments.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-performance, cloud-native platforms to production.
• Deep expertise in microservices, distributed systems, and high-volume data pipelines.
• Meaningful exposure to AI and Machine Learning within the last two years.
• Experience at Director, VP, or Principal Architect level.
• Must be based in or genuinely committed to relocating to Lausanne, Switzerland.
