What you will do

• Lead the metrology and characterization strategy for advanced HGA process development to ensure critical features are accurately measured.
• Define and develop measurement approaches for key KPIVs and KPOVs to understand process performance and sensitivity.
• Operate and advance lab-based metrology tools, providing high-quality data and insights to process engineers.
• Establish strong correlation between different measurement techniques to ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with process architects and global engineering teams, including partners in the U.S., to align measurement capability with process requirements.
• Drive the development of data analysis approaches to link measurement results to process behavior and performance outcomes.

Requirements

• Background in metrology, materials characterization, or precision measurement within engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with lab-based measurement tools, such as optical, mechanical, electrical, or surface analysis.
• Deep understanding of measurement fundamentals, including accuracy, repeatability, and correlation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
• English: Good written and spoken communication skills are required for collaboration with global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction in measurement and characterization.
