What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of custom research projects, ensuring high-quality and validated data for market analysis.
• Design and implement advanced workflows for data acquisition, cleansing, and processing using modern tools.
• Conduct primary research interviews with industry contacts and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Perform in-depth secondary research via trade journals, financial releases, and industry publications.
• Build and maintain large-scale datasets and market analysis with thorough documentation of methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align research with strategic goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in research, data analysis, or related roles with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in research methodologies and operational workflows.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, ETL processes, and Excel for data manipulation and visualization.
• Strong analytical skills to manage and interpret large datasets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be based in Penang, Malaysia, and able to work from the office at least 3 days a week
