Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Act as the technical subject matter expert in customer discovery calls, demos, and proof-of-value engagements.
• Develop deep proficiency in the hirify.global software platform and AutoDesign to demonstrate and teach capabilities to utility audiences.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to craft technical presentations, demo scripts, and practitioner-focused content.
• Channel the voice of utility designers into the product roadmap to surface friction and validate solutions.
• Map platform capabilities against incumbent tools like PLS-CADD and SpidaCalc to articulate competitive differentiation.
• Create scalable playbooks, technical FAQs, and objection handling materials for the Design function.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Designer or Estimator producing distribution or transmission designs at a utility or EPC.
• 3–5 years of experience working directly with electric utilities.
• Proficiency in industry design tools such as PLS-CADD, SpidaCalc, OCalc, Pole Foreman, or AutoCAD.
• Aptitude for automation and scripting using Python, VBA, or similar languages.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Willingness to travel domestically 20–30% of the time.
